Wolfsburg Unveil New Kit For German Cup Final Featuring A Nice Tribute To Junior Malanda

Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg will contest the German Cup Final against Borussia Dortmund this weekend, and they will do so wearing their new home kit for next season.

The jersey, designed by Kappa, features two chevrons leading in to the Volkswagen logo, as well as green trim on the cuffs and neck, but the most noticeable feature is a subtle tribute to their former player Junior Malanda, who was tragically killed in a car crash earlier this year.

The little green heart with '19' (Malanda's squad number) will be worn over the heart of the Wolfsburg players as they look to try and win the DFB Pokal for the first time in their history.

A nice touch from Wolfsburg, hopefully they keep the heart on the shirt for next season as well.
