Neymar Has Just Uttered The Words That No Liverpool Fan Wants To Hear

There is a very real problem for fans of English football teams, and that is any time one of their players starts playing really well, the big two in Spain come sniffing around.

Philippe Coutinho is one of Liverpool's most popular players, as the little Brazilian has developed a knack for winning games with moments of magic that typically curl in from 25+ yards when the team badly needs a goal, but unfortunately for those who align themselves with the red half of Merseyside, Coutinho's popularity extends outside of Anfield.

Barca superstar Neymar, apart from being one of the very best footballers around, is also a close friend of Philippe Coutinho having played football with him from a young age, as we recently saw with this adorable Instagram post:

But now, one of the few Brazilian wonderkids who actually justified his reputation has said something that no Liverpool fan will have wanted to hear, as Neymar Jr. has planted the seeds for a Coutinho move to Barcelona:

Coutinho is a brilliant player. I'd like to play with him at Barca. He's good enough to play here.

Obviously a transfer is still some way off, but the fear that he may eventually head for Barcelona is very real as long as Neymar remains at the club, which we're assuming will be for the foreseeable future.

After seeing Luis Suarez make the move and shine in his new enviroment, Liverpool fans will most likely be worried that if Coutinho continues to improve, he'll move closer to the exit door at Anfield. These comments also won't go down to well with those that think the Premier League is the best league in the World, as the best players continued to be linked with moves to the two Spainsh giants.
