Sky Sports News is in mourning today after losing most of their friday afternoon content. Roy Keane has not been sacked by Ipswich(yet) however he has decided that enough is enough and he will not answer any questions other than those pertaining to Portman Road.

"I've decided to take a step back and keep my nose out,' he admits. 'It's a conscious decision, because when I do talk about other things all it does is attract silly headlines.

'I always discuss Ipswich and what I want to do here, but it's not the stuff that's ever shown or appears the next day. Fans get the impression that I only want to talk about the Premier League at a time when this club is struggling in the Championship, and that's not the case."

'I understand I'm going to be asked about Manchester United and Celtic and Sunderland sometimes. But I think I've done enough talking about that stuff over the years. Just because I've played for them doesn't mean I should have an opinion about what's going on at those clubs now. This is where my heart is now. I want to be respectful to Ipswich. So I'm not interested in going there any more.'

Keane continued and admitted to a new sporting love - "'Boxing's the greatest sport for me. Champions bounce back up and get back in there. That's what we all have to do.'

Keane's future looks more secure after an Easter Weekend where he seemed to come back from the dead with 2 wins over Derby and Reading and although he has ruled out Celtic, Man Utd and Ireland talk, its quite possible that we will witness once again the anger of the boy Roy.
