The English football season kicked off in earnest yesterday, with all of the leagues in action. There were cracking goals from all over the UK, with Mirko Antenucci scored a pearler for Leeds, Ross Barkley firing in one for Everton, and this bizarre goal for Doncaster.

None of those hold a candle to Oxford City's Bubb who has to be credited with the fastest goal from a tip off ever.

Bubb catches the keeper off the line to equalise late for Oxford City against Chelmsford, and then had the chance to give them the win with a penalty but the keeper redeemed himself with a save.

The game finished 2-2.
