Well, they might have shot a fecking movie trailer AND music video while we scrolled our newsfeeds for the past couple of weeks, but the longest-running transfer saga in the history of man has finally drawn to a close.
£89m or thereabouts is all it took to prize Paul Pogba away from Turin and bring him back to Manchester for José Mourinho's reign, begging questions online such as "Is Paul Pogba worth £89m?" - as if football and transfer fees were ever supposed to make sense.
Money aside, however, the 23-year-old had a massive smile on his face when chatting to MUTV about his new gig, which will at least ease the worries of United fans who were concerned the Frenchman might simply have his eyes on a mammoth payday.
He certainly said all the right things, even revealing that his mother had told him he would end up back at Old Trafford one day:
"I came back to Carrington and it was like I just came back home. I think it's destiny.
It looks like I went for a holiday, and came back home. I was meant to come back here. I feel this. I always had this United thing in my heart. That's why I came back. I'm happy, just happy.
