From The Indian Express:

The All India Football Federation (AIFF), however, is unlikely to ban the Kalyani Stadium as an I-League venue. "No, we haven't taken such a decision yet. But we have instructed the authorities to take proper measures to ensure that snakes are removed from the premises of the stadium," I-League CEO Sunanda Dhar told The Indian Express .

Kalyani Municipality chairman PK Sur said that the area was infested with snakes and as it was summer an increasing number of them were being spotted.

Samuel L. Jackson was quoted as saying: "Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking pitch!"
