It's probably just a co-incidence that shortly after they sign David Beckham, but before he makes his debut, the nouveau-riche Paris Saint-Germain decide to change their logo.
Not their crest or their badge as practically every football fan in the world would call it, but their logo.
"The evolution of the Paris Saint-Germain logo marks an important stage in the implementing of our ambition namely making Paris Saint-Germain one of the world's greatest sporting brands."
They even have a slogan to go with the re-branding of the club; "Dream Bigger" as you can see in the little video they released to launch the logo.

Despite being relatively young (compared to most top European clubs), PSG have gone through numerous crest changes since their 1970 founding.
Beckham is expected to make his debut for PSG this weekend against Marseille.
