Rangers announced the signings of Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Roofe makes the move to Ibrox from Anderlecht where he spent last season. He scored seven times in 16 games for the Belgian club.
Roofe joined Anderlecht from Leeds last summer. He had spent three years at Elland Road.
"It's amazing," Roofe, who has signed a four-year deal, told Rangers TV.
"Things happen so quickly so it's difficult to get a perspective of what is really going on, but coming here to the training ground to see the environment and see all the staff, you realise this is serious and this is a big place.
"The main goal is obviously to win and to get success again. As a footballer, you want to keep testing yourself and you also want to be playing at the biggest clubs possible."
Rangers also announced the signing of Switzerland international striker Cedric Itten from St Gallen. The 23-year-old scored 20 goals for St Gallen last season.
Itten cost Rangers £2.7 million while the fee for Roofe was not disclosed.
"I have asked some top players from the past about their experiences in Scotland," added Roofe regarding his move, "and they have said playing against Rangers is one of the best games they have ever played in, and they have played in many different games around the world in different countries and in international games.
"They have said playing against Rangers is top."
