Real Madrid President Florentino Perez seemed to poke fun at Kylian Mbappe as reports emerge he wants to leave PSG.

According to Spanish media, Kylian Mbappe has expressed his desire to leave PSG just months after signing a new contract with the club, which was one of the biggest in the history of the sport.

Mbappe had been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who knocked PSG out of the Champions League last season, but shocked the world when he signed a new contract.

The 23-year-old’s contract had reportedly been the start of a number of changes at PSG, with the power Mbappe holds within the club seen as highly controversial.

Since arriving to PSG from Monaco, Mbappe has scored for 182 goals in 229 games, winning four Ligue 1 titles and a World Cup with France.

However, the Champions League has constantly been out of PSG and Kylian Mbappe's reach, with last season’s collapse against Real Madrid just one of many times they have self-destructed over the last few years.

With Real Madrid going on to win the competition, Real Madrid President Perez had some choice words to say when signing autographs for fans.

Despite being top of their Champions League group, and in form alongside a front three of Neymar and Lionel Messi either side of him, Spanish outlet Marca have claimed Kylian Mbappe is unhappy with the direction the club is going in.

It has been reported he wants to leave the club in January, with PSG stating he is not for sale.

Kylian Mbappe is likely to have ambitions to win multiple Ballon Do’rs and Champions League’s in the years ahead, and may feel he has to move to Real Madrid to fulfil his ambitions.

All eyes will be on the French striker in the World Cup in November, as France attempt to defend their title following  disappointing EURO 2020 and Nations League campaigns.
