If you are currently between the ages of 20 and 30, chances are you've seen EUROTRIP, an American comedy about a guy going to visit his pen pal in Germany by travelling across Europe.

Aside from being famous for giving the world 'Scottie Doesn't Know', the movie parodied all of the countries that were involved in this trip, many of which were wildly inaccurate (they were seriously harsh on Bratislava). However, every non-English sports fan (and some English sports fans too) would have enjoyed a chuckle when it came to London, and the American idea of English footy fans.

Vinnie Jones was cast as the leader of a Manchester United supporters club that the movie's protagonists accidentally stumbled upon, and soon they were sharing a bus to Paris...

Can we just take a moment to appreciate this guy?

Vinnie Jones' finest hour.

The film was panned when it was released, and currently holds a rating of 44% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it was essentially designed for teenagers to watch while having a sleepover and in that regard it certainly delivered. Mostly for the mild nudity.

However, their depiction of English football fans is something everybody who watched the film remembers, which doesn't actually seem that farfetched after the bullshit we saw in France last summer (obligatory: It's the minority not all, disclaimer).

At least they hired an English man, rather than teach an American a cockney accent like in Green Street.
