REPORTS: Mamadou Sakho Suspended By Liverpool For Failing Drugs Test
By Gavin Cooney

RMC in France are reporting this afternoon that Mamadou Sakho has been provisionally suspended by Liverpool for allegedly failing a drugs test. It is alleged that Sakho tested positive for a banned substance contained in a fat burner that RMC write was used "for purely personal and therapeutic interest to remove his fat".

Sakho's Liverpool teammate Kolo Toure has previously served a suspension for failing a drugs test having taken diet pills belonging to his wife.

Sakho has been in fine form for Liverpool of late, founding a solid defensive partnership with Dejan Lovren and scoring at Anfield in games against Borussia Dortmund and Everton.
