Richard Keys efforts in the internet world haven't been without their problems.

His twitter feed is a troll magnet.

Most of his tweets on football are followed by someone asking would he "smash it."

Without even referencing what the "it" in question is.

And when he unwisely told everyone he was just getting into Breaking Bad,

-it took approximately 8 seconds for people to start tweeting him spoilers.

His blog on football is now attracting a fair amount of attention for its author's ceaseless name-dropping

- and its strange formatting style.

And there a good few Partridge-esque claims.

He insisted recently it was him and Shreevsy who came up with the idea of bringing Gary Neville on board.

Gary joining Sky was an idea that both Geoff Shreeves and I had. We sat and talked him into doing it over a bowl of chips in Manchester's Radisson Hotel.

But his finest moment came this week.

He summed up his (largely warm) feelings towards Ryan Giggs with delightful eloquence and concision.

I do wish Ryan Giggs all the luck in the world this weekend. He's a good guy.

He also happens to be, not just a Manchester United legend, but someone the Premier League and the English 'game' can be rightly proud of.

Obviously there was the affair with his brothers' wife.

To be fair to Keys he's a bit liberated by no longer being associated with Sky.

He rips into Fergie a fair bit and blames him for United's woes.

So here's to more Richard Keys blog posts.

Written in his own inimitable style.
