Premier Futsal is attempting to take India by storm, but even if it fails to put bums on seats in cities such as Mumbai and Bengaluru, they are going to get the internet heavily involved with some of the names that have agreed to play.

After week one of the competition saw Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes both miss their fixtures due to extreme conditions hampering their travel plans, Wednesday night saw both men arrive on time where they were joined by Hernan Crespo and Ronaldinho much to the delight of those in attendance.

The first match of the night saw Giggs' Mumbai Warriors defeat Crespo's Chennai Singhams 5-3, but the main event of the evening served up a cracker as Ronaldinho's Delhi Dragons faced off against Paul Scholes and the Bengaluru Royals.

The rest of the squads are made up of Indian players, and as such Scholes took it upon himself to make sure nobody was getting mugged off by the legendary Brazilian, according to Debayan Sen who was there for ESPN.co.uk:

When Ronaldinho took to the field for Delhi Dragons, there was a minor obstacle in his path that went by the name of Paul Scholes. Scholes took it upon himself to mark the Delhi marquee out of the game. There were hard tackles, some harmless professional fouls, but massive mutual respect as Bengaluru Royals sauntered to a 3-0 lead. Scholes played as a sweeper when required, but invariably his passes led to all of Bengaluru's goals.

Classic Scholes, opting for results over entertainment, but even he couldn't stop Ronaldinho from doing his thing.

The former Barca star produced a hat-trick to spark a comeback, including one moment of magic as he nutmegged the Bengaluru goalkeeper before providing a no-look finish.

The smile on his face as he popped the ball through the keeper's legs, the guy is such a legend.

Despite being both 4-1 and 5-3 down, El Gaucho lead his team to comeback and secure a 5-5 draw, and thankfully someone took the time to create a highlights package of the game that you can watch below:

It's something to keep an eye on, the six-team league has one legend on each squad, the two not playing on Wednesday night being Deco and Michel Salgado.

We're looking forward to more moments of Ronaldinho magic, and of course a Giggs vs Scholes clash at some stage.
