The Brazilian Ronaldo has poured cold water on the rumours that PSG's Neymar could move to Real Madrid this summer, calling the transfer 'impossible'.
Ronaldo, who is an ambassador for Real Madrid told El Larguero radio show that while the former Barca player could transfer to the Spanish giants in the future, he ruled out a switch this summer:
[Neymar] joined PSG recently for a big fee, and I don't believe PSG need money. So even if Real Madrid make a very big offer, it won't change their minds.
At the moment, I think it's impossible for Neymar to play at Real Madrid. Maybe in a few years. He is still young, but at the moment, impossible. I believe he likes it in Paris, he wanted a change [from Barca] and knew what was going to happen.
Neymar transferred from Barcelona to PSG last summer for a record €222 million but has spent the last few months recovering from a metatarsal injury in Brazil, and was criticised recently for not returning to Paris in order to celebrate PSG's Ligue 1 triumph, instead watching the title clinching game in his home country.
With uncertainty surrounding Gareth Bale & Karim Benzama's situation at the club, there is a big summer ahead of Real Madrid as they look to get back on track in La Liga after a disappointing season which has seen a 15 point gap open up between themselves and Barcelona.
Ronaldo admitted that he didn't know too much about Madrid's transfer plans, the club have had tentative links with the likes of Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah, but did say that "in any moment, Florentino (Real Madrid president) could do something surprising."
