'It's Not Cute, It's Cheating' - Roy Keane's View On Jamie Vardy's Gamesmanship

The 74th minute in the second leg of Leicester and Sevilla's Champions Legaue last-16 tie was a crucial one. It saw Samir Nasri sent-off for butting heads, ever so slightly, with Jamie Vardy.

Vardy made a five-course meal of the situation, the result being a second yellow card for Nasri, one of Sevilla's most influential players. It hurt the Spanish side badly as they sought a goal which may have sent the game into extra-time.

On TV's Champions League highlights show on Wednesday night, Roy Keane said that what Vardy did was cheating. Earlier in the analysis, host Mark Pougatch had called Vardy's actions 'cute'. Keane did not agree with that assessment.

Vardy's reaction, you still wouldn't be happy with that. It's not cute. I think it's a form of cheating. Of course the referee was right to send Nasri off as he was on a booking, but with Vardy you would expect better.

We see it all the time, but it doesn't mean it is right.
