Roy Keane was among the spectators as the NFL returned to London this weekend, with the Green Bay Packers taking on the New York Giants in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

For fans in attendance, this was one of the few opportunities they would have to see NFL stars close, up but one fan's attention was towards Roy Keane.

Usually on our screens on a Sunday, Roy Keane, who is a big fan of American Football, took time for his punditry to see the action when he was approached by a supporter.

With the cameras on Roy Keane at the time, the man appeared to be asking the former Manchester United midfielder for an autograph or a selfie.

However, Keane appeared to tell the fan that he was watching the game, and he would meet them after the game.

While Keane may have appeared to be rude or impolite towards the fan, he has spoke before on his want for privacy and not be constantly in the public eye.

The former Ireland midfielder spoke on this issue with Gary Neville on the overlap.

“Being in the public eye, I detest it, I hate it. People who respect you leave you alone.

People who invade you with your phone or jerseys I just think you’re so annoying. People can be polite, too.

However, sticking a phone into your face or following you with a camera is not on. I f you said no their request, people would then think you’re rude. I would be going’ I’m the rude one? You’re coming up to me with a phone?”

Roy Keane had also said before that the only famous person he has approached for a picture is the late Muhammad Ali.
