The FA Cup has certainly lost most of its lustre over the last couple of decades. Once the biggest cup competition in the game, it is now largely treated as an afterthought by most Premier League clubs.

That is a shame, with intense FA Cup ties providing some of our fondest memories over the years. In fact, it is 30 years to the day since one of the fiercest matchups the competition has seen.

We are of course talking about the game Wimbledon and Manchester United from 1994, a match Alex Ferguson's side would win 3-0.

It's 30 years since Roy Keane's FA Cup showdown with Vinnie Jones

It featured brilliant goals from Eric Cantona and Denis Irwin, but the most eye-catching part is probably the battle between Vinnie Jones and a fresh-faced Roy Keane in the midfield.

Jones' antics could generously be described as 'full blooded'. It is incredible that he managed to stay on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. Sit back and enjoy this one.

The Wales international certainly wouldn't get away with that carry on in the modern game.

This was actually Roy Keane's first season at Manchester United, one that would end up in a league and cup double. We're not sure what became of him after that...
