With one of the most unusual Premier League seasons in recent memory winding down over the past few weeks, the best addition to all of the drama has been Sam Allardyce's arrival at Leeds in an attempt to keep them from relegation.

Big Sam arrived with just four games to go, enlisting the help of Irish legend Robbie Keane as part of his coaching team, with Leeds deep in the mire of the battle for survival.

Things have gone surprisingly well thus far, with a narrow defeat at champions Manchester City followed by an impressive draw last week against Newcastle United.

They had an opportunity to leapfrog Everton and move out of the relegation zone with victory at West Ham on Sunday afternoon, in what was a hugely tense afternoon for Leeds fans.

You wouldn't have guessed as much, however, from the antics of Sam Allardyce on the touchline in the first half.

Leeds took an early lead at the London Stadium on Sunday, with Rodrigo putting them 1-0 up after 17 minutes with a delightful volley from a long throw-in.

It was a huge moment for Leeds, and evidently the game hadn't taken too much of an impact on Sam Allardyce's peace of mind.

Ten minutes after Rodrigo's opener, Allardyce was captured on the sideline picking up a piece of paper, which appeared to be a £5 note.

He then hilariously approached the fourth official Andy Madley and jokingly offered it to him, with the pair bursting into laughter on the London Stadium touchline.

We all knew that Sam Allardyce would bring some light hearted entertainment to the relegation battle, and he has not disappointed.

His Leeds side look to be in trouble, however, after goals from Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen turned things around for West Ham, and left Leeds facing into the final weekend in the relegation zone.
