Republic of Ireland striker Shane Long has written his name into the history books tonight with a goal after just 7.69 seconds for Southampton during their Premier League clash with Watford.
Long chipped past goalkeeper Ben Foster in the early stages after pressing hard immediately from the kick-off. The goal stunned Vicarage road and gave Ralph Hasenhüttl's side a dream start.
