Youtuber Speed’s horrible luck this week continued as he once again missed out on seeing his idol Cristiano Ronaldo for the second time in a matter of days.

The popular youtuber, who is known as Ishowspeed online, as become hugely popular on footballing circles and FIFA streams on his popular Twitch streams.

The profile of Speed increased when he took part in a popular charity match among youtubers, where he flew into tackles and was energetic as you could be on the pitch.

Speed hasn’t hidden the fact of  his superfan status of Cristiano Ronaldo, and has taken on his iconic ‘SUI’ celebration as his own catchphrase. In fact, he made a hugely popular song out of the celebration and catchphrase.

Unfortunately for Speed, and many other Manchester United fans, Cristiano Ronaldo’s troubles at the club have come at the wrong time for the huge fan, as he arrived to England this week to see his hero in action, and probably had plans on meeting the 37-year-old.

However, he was not in the squad to play in the league cup victory over Aston Villa on Thursday, much to his disappointment. While he may not have met Ronaldo, he did meet some other Manchester United legends in Old Trafford.

In Manchester United’s last game before the World Cup, they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham, with the club in fifth place going into the game. With Jadon Sancho and Anthony injured, Ronaldo would have been in with a chance of starting.

However, not only is Ronaldo not starting, but he is left out of the squad completely, with Elanga given a rare start alongside Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. Alongside Geoff Shreeves, Speed was visibly upset with the team news.

Speed will have to wait until after Christmas to get the opportunity to meet his hero.
