Stephen Ireland wasn't lying when he said in his recent interview that he had loads of friends in the Irish set-up but his declaration that he was all growed up and ready to leave the tabloid fodder days behind don't ring particularly true this morning.

These photos have emerged from the friday night when  Stephen Ireland, Leon Best and reserve team player Stephen Folan who joined the Toon from Salthill Devon in Galway allegedly headed to the Tup Tup Palace. Alan Pardew reacted angrily after being told about the photos after yesterdays 4-0 reverse against Stoke City

"That is a situation I have to look at on Monday morning. It is news to me.

"It is not an ideal situation when you have a game on Saturday even though they are injured. I will look at that."

Lifelong fan Paul Blacklock told the Sunday Sun, 25, : “It was a diabolical performance today and we had heard rumours prior to the game why certain players weren’t involved in it.“It is disgusting to hear about these pictures.“These players have a stance and they need to be sensible in what they do and where they go.“We know they have to have a social life but if it starts affecting their game then that isn’t on.”

To find out what sort of place this Tup Tup Palace  niteclub was, we took a trip to their facebook page where these photos are said to have come from and this is what we found. Friday night at the Tup Tup, the Irish lads weren't the only people acting the arsehole.
