The USA played Turkey yesterday in a World Cup warm-up, which ended in a 2-1 win for the Stars and Stripes. Their goals came courtesy of Fabian Johson and Clint Dempsey, but it was an earlier piece of skill from the former Tottenham and Fulham man that really caught the eye. His goal was a far less ornate affair, gifted to him after some woeful defending, but he looked happy all the same. The USA will need to cause at least one upset to progress from Group G, where they will face Germany, Portugal and Ghana. [BleacherReport]
