Sydney FC Score Tragically Bad Own Goal Against Local Rivals

This passage of play, which even the most viciously hungover of pub teams would be ashamed to contrive, comes from the A-League game between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.

It's a difficult call as to who was more at fault for the goal - Sasa Ognenovski, with his lazy-looking, miscued attempted clearance, or goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic and his impression of a Junior D goalie shitting himself under a dropping ball in a howling gale.

Ognenovski managed to make amends for his unintentional Garryowen by scoring the equalising goal early in the second half. He was fully redeemed by his teammate Corey Gameiro who scored the Sky Blues' third, giving them the victory.
