The Delirious Reaction To A Historic European Night At Anfield

It always had the makings of a throwback European night at Anfield, and that's exactly what we got.

Marco Reus seemed to have put visitors Borussia Dortmund out of sight following a magisterial run and pass from Mats Hummels, but Jurgen Klopp's men produced a comeback reminiscent of 11 years ago to send the fans and manager into raptures.

Following a neat finish from Philippe Coutinho and a late leveller by Mamadou Sakho the Reds were knocking on the door, but Dejan Lovren blew the house down with a thumping header as the clock hit 90, sparking a typically wild reaction on Twitter. You can relive that Lovren goal again, here.

And to be fair, Kammy, it was unbelievable.
