Life Style Sports have announced a search for undiscovered young Irish footballers to win a trial at the prestigious Nike Academy in London.
"The Dream" aims to find the most talented young footballing talent in Ireland and have them take part in a series of trials. The overall winner of the competition will get a one year trial at the Nike Academy.
This is not just an ordinary trial as 30% of the academy's graduates have gone on to sign professional contracts. Celtic prospect Tom Rogic graduated from the academy in 2011 and has gone on to play 15 times for the Scottish champions.
To enter The Dream, players must send a football CV to [email protected] before midnight on Sunday August 17.
A shortlist of the submissions will attend a trial in front of the Academy coaches on August 21 in Dublin at a location that will be announced shortly.
Football CV Guidelines:
· CV should be maximum three pages long & submitted as a Word document ideally
· Include name, date of birth, position and club
· Smile! – Enclose a headshot with your CV
· Tell us about your club and what makes it great
· Don’t be afraid to show off! Tell us all about your achievements, football and personal
· Dream big – what are your hopes for your future football career?
· Most importantly – tell us why you’ve got what it takes to compete at The Dream football trials
The Dream is open to players aged 16-19, based in the island of Ireland.
