We've been waiting and waiting for some Football Manager 2016 information, and the folks at Sports Interactive have today released an avalanche of news that left us reeling.

Firstly we now know that the release date is Friday, November 13th, and we are counting down the hours and minutes until then thanks to all the new stuff we can't wait to get our hands on.

Fantasy Draft Mode

This is going to be so much fun. If you and your pals are avid Football Manager players, you can set up a league and do a fantasy draft of players. FIFA 16 is also including a feature similar to this, as it's clear that the fantasy element of sports is something gamers want to see more of.

Create A Club

Wow! You can now create your Sunday League team, or any fictional team you wish, to Champions League glory in the game. This is a huge new addition if you like a long save in Football Manager, and the options to create the club badge and kit look great.

One for the hardcore players, as you can now let your creativity run wild with a detailed set-piece creator, which will probably make for some very funny clips. Even better if you've built your Sunday League team and can use the actual tactics you employ, although shooting from kickoff may not catch professional goalkeepers out.

Multi Match Highlights & Prozone Stats

This sounds to us like a Match Of The Day type feature, which sounds just brilliant. Now you can see exactly why that 17 year old Brazilian wonderkid scored 4 goals for Bolton against Arsenal. The addition of Prozone stats just add to the authenticity of the game, and will be a helpful addition.

Creat Your Manager And See Him On The Sideline

There is a clear emphasis on customisation this year, as now you can even build a virtual mini-me on the sidelines, shouting at your female physio and headbutting David Meyler, just like real managers!

There are many more new additions and tweaks including new graphics, new match-day experience features, and two new different versions of Football Manager for tablet and mobile devices.

Friday, November 13th is the day to look forward to, and it might be worth booking the following week off work now.
