The likelihood of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann joining Manchester United in the summer has gone from being a pipe-dream and the type of thing that would see the club's fans mocked on social media, to being talked about as a probability, seemingly in a matter of weeks.
Man Utd fans have previous with Theo, the younger brother of Antoine, as his timeline is extremely pro-United, but once again his twitter activity has seen many fans take it as further hint that the free-scoring Frenchman is destined for Old Trafford.
After Memphis Depay made his debut for Lyon at the weekend, freeing up the coveted #7 shirt at Man Utd with his departure, Theo Greizmann took a random pop at the Dutchman on twitter:
Sorry Memphis i think old trafford is better ! ?? pic.twitter.com/ROFTTYHNJL

And it went down a treat, with a lot of fans responding in a similar fashion:

@TheoGriezmann tell your brother that Theo lad
— Manchester United ? (@UnitedCaptured) January 22, 2017
@TheoGriezmann hope everyone in your family knows that ?

@TheoGriezmann tell your brother that

@TheoGriezmann Old Trafford is better than Atletico's stadium too, tell your bro that ?

It may seem a little stupid expecting a high profile player being influenced by who their brother supports, but Bastian Schweinsteiger explained that his brother Tobi's love for the club was a big factor in him wanting to move to Manchester.
If what Theo tweeted got some Man Utd fans excited, then what Antoine did on the pitch this weekend would have sent them off the edge. He scored a beautiful goal in a 2-2 draw with Bilbao.
And then, speaking on the European Football Show, Julien Laurens claimed that Griezmann and Paul Pogba are on the phone talking to each other every day, and after Diego Simeone's comments last week that no player would be kept at Atleti against their will, it's beginning to look like a runner.
Now all that's missing is him liking something the club post on Instagram, that's the real deal sealer in 2017.
