"He Thinks He Owns Our Country!"- Charlie Nicholas Savages Rangers Boss Pedro Caixinha

In a move seemingly made to replicate the regular and hilarious teardowns seen on BT Sport during their coverage of the Scottish Premier League recently, Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas went off on Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha on Thursday afternoon.

With Celtic's visit to Partick Thistle being shown live on Sky on Thursday night, it was time for some Scottish punditry and Celtic legends Paul Lambert and 'Champagne' Charlie Nicholas were drafted in to give their views.

It didn't take long for Nicholas to follow in the footsteps of his Soccer Saturday colleague Paul Merson in giving a magnificently 'Brexit' take on a foreign manager, as he suggested Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha thinks he owns Scotland.

The nervous laughter of Paul Lambert really makes it.

No. They’re lucky to be third. They shouldn’t be embarrassed.

When the season started I thought to myself, ‘If they are competing with Hearts and St Johnstone they’ve done a decent job’.

They don’t have any top class footballers at all. They’ve a manager that’s walked in and thinks he owns our country, telling everybody what to do.

He’s got the scattergun out and is telling everybody this is how it’s going to be. He starts moving glasses after a match to tell people about his tactics. Tell your players the tactics! That’s the secret to it. Make your players better.

He keeps talking about warriors, this team is a million miles from being second best and that’s why they shouldn’t be embarrassed.

They are in a real state.

Spectacular.

Certainly not biting his tongue there. Nicholas' views go against those of Abdereen boss Derek McInnes who suggested Rangers should be embarrased to finish in second place due to their budget, but goes along with Neil Lennon who himself laid into Caixinha on BT Sport yesterday.

Nicholas' hammering takes the cake however, as it's clear he just really doesn't like him.
