As Ireland prepare to face Georgia in Tbilisi tomorrow evening, they can take some heart from the fact that it comes just one day after that most memorable of Irish sporting anniversaries - Richard Dunne Day.

Three years have now passed since that afternoon in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium when the Tallaght titan almost single-handedly kept the Russian hordes at bay, spilling blood and ruining his nice white shirt in the process.

It is your solemn duty and mine to ensure that this heroism is never forgotten, whether it be by ruining a perfectly good garment by scrawling a huge '5' on it or just by taking a look back at the highlights of the game and the Sportsfile images below. Have a great one.
