Ireland International's Encounter With Burglar Needs To Be Recreated For Television

Ireland International's Encounter With Burglar Needs To Be Recreated For Television
By PJ Browne

Even though it would appear the individual in question has already been apprehended, we wholeheartedly wish to see Tommie Hoban's encounter with a burglar recreated for Crimewatch on the BBC.

The Watford and Ireland centre-back - who is yet to see action with his club side this season due to an on-going groin injury - related on Twitter the details of a man breaking into house near where his car was parked.

The man panicked when confronted, fled, tripped and then KO'd himself on Hoban's car.

It had 21-year-old Hoban lamenting the days when criminals were professionals, presumably due to the damage which was caused to his car.
