With just 3 days until the transfer window closes, rumours are starting to have a little bit more weight to them. Panic buys and rushed deals are set to dominate the next few days. Exciting times.

Transfer Rumour Roundup

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have made a bid to sign Real Madrid's James Rodriguez on loan. Yeah. Madrid reportedly rejected the move as they would prefer to cash in on the Colombian, for a fee of around £60m. God loves a trier.

Sky Sports are reporting that Crystal Palace are close to agreeing a deal to bring Loic Remy in on loan. The 29-year-old will likely be on the fringes of Conte's Chelsea team this year. By completing this deal, Crystal Palace could line out with Remy and Benteke up front, quite the strike force... in 2013.

According to Marca, Chelsea are close to securing a transfer for Fiorentina's Marcos Alonso. The 25-year old defender would cost Antonio Conte around £21m. He already has Premier League experience having already played for Bolton from 2010 to 2013.

The Manchester Evening News are reporting that Manchester United are looking to bolster their defensive ranks by signing both Fabinho and Jose Fonte. Both are represented by Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes. Just sayin'.

But The Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea are set to battle with Manchester United for the signature of Monaco's Fabinho. Both clubs are arguably weak at right-back and the 22-year-old would provide a decent alternative.

Arsenal are reportedly close to signing Paraguay international Miguel Almiron. The 22-year-old midfielder plays for Argentinian club Lanus and The Mirror are reporting that he could be Arsene Wenger's third signing after Mustafi and Perez are confirmed.

West Brom have been quiet in this window so far. That looks set to change as the Baggies are reportedly close to signing Malaga's Spanish midfielder Ignacio Camacho for a fee of around £15m.

Tony Pulis has also agreed a deal to sign Tottenham's Nacer Chadli according to The Telegraph. The 27-year-old Belgian is set to complete his medical today.

Sunderland have agreed a £7m fee for Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra according to Sky Sports. Presumably, Moyes is tired of signing ex-Man United players and wants to switch it up with the 28-year-old midfielder.

Reading are on the verge of completing an unexpected loan move for Asamoah Gyan according to Get Reading. The former Sunderland striker is currently earning £227,000 a week for Chinese club Shanghai SIPG. Safe to say he'll be taking a pay cut so.
