Watch: Ireland U17s Grab Draw With Sensational Injury Time Free Kick

Ireland's U17s drew 1-1 with their Turkish counterparts in Galway on Tuesday night.

The visitors took the lead in the friendly after an hour when Atakan Gunduz scored from the penalty spot. The advantage remained with Turkey until two minutes into injury time.

After Ireland won a free kick 30 yards from goal, Troy Parrott stepped to the score a sensational equaliser for his side.

Ireland coach Colin O'Brien told the FAI website that the 16-year-old has shown real courage.

We definitely deserved to get something from the game. Over the 80 minutes we probably created the better of the chances. Troy showed great courage to take on that opportunity and the execution was top quality.
