The Premier League season just days over, Tyrone Mings' appetite for football had not been sated.

The Bournemouth centre-back is just off the back of another frustrating season at the club where he made just nine appearances in all competitions.

After joining in 2015, Mings suffered a season-ending injury which kept him out of action for virtually all of 2015/16.

He then struggled to get regular first team football this season, a decent run of games coming to an end which he was hit with a five-game suspension for a stamp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic in March. The 24-year-old did not make another appearance for Eddie Howe following that incident.

Last night, Mings threw out a request for a kickabout on Twitter.

Mings turned up for the seven-a-side game along with former Ipswich teammate and current Yeovil player Omar Sowunmi.

As last minute subs for Tuesday night kickabout go, Mings is as good as it gets really.
