UCD have been awarded a 3-0 win over Bohs after it emerged the latter side fielded an ineligible player in Monday's night game between the sides at the UCD Bowl.

UCD won 1-0 on the night via a goal from Yoyo Mahdy. However, Bohs midfielder Danny Mandroiu should not have played as he was due to serve a suspension in the game.

Along with the result being upgraded to a 3-0 win for UCD, Bohs have also been fined.

The match ended with a melee involving players and staff from both sides. It was sparked by UCD keeper Conor Kearns celebrating the victory in front of Bohs supporters.

As Kearns left the pitch, bottles thrown in his direction and stewards had to prevent one supporter from confronting him.
