Listeners to 'Today With Sean O'Rourke' will have heard an unexpected news line item during a discussion on this morning's tragic events in Brussels. O'Rourke, while discussing a range of security measures being introduced after the bombings, reported that, in light of the events in Belgium today, UEFA had decided to indefinitely postpone Dortmund v Liverpool as well as the other Europa League quarterfinals scheduled for the  7th and 14 of April (podcast not online yet). It was confusing news, to say the least, as Dortmund play in Dortmund not Brussels,  and there was no mention of the rescheduling by either UEFA or any Liverpool or Dortmund journalists that we could find. In fact there was zero mention of the news bar this tweet:

We rang UEFA HQ in Switzerland and a spokesperson confirmed that UEFA have had no discussions about rescheduling or postponing the fixtures and added it was the first they had heard of the news.
