The thinking was that, if he got the gametime and the service, Rickie Lambert would score more than his fair share of goals for Liverpool. It didn't work out like that.
For one reason or another things didn't work out for the former Southampton man at his boyhood club and now that he's moved on to West Brom, things look set for him to once again prove what a lethal finisher he can. Having said that, you don't really need to be that lethal if you're getting this kind of service from James McClean.
