Vine: Tim Sherwood Calls Fan Down From Stand To Manage Spurs

Spurs beat Aston Villa 3-0 at White Hart Lane today with all the goals coming in the first half. Tim Sherwood isn't long for the Tottenham bench so perhaps taking a leaf out of Alex Ferguson's book he attempted to appoint his own successor. But this successor was a fan from the stands.

Sherwood doesn't give him much chance of a permanent appointment though.

Sherwood asked on @bbc5live 'where's the fan you put on the bench in the betting for the manager's job?' 'No chance. He's English'

And of course you cannot manage Spurs without your bodywarmer.

Afterwards Sherwood described the episode as "just good banter".
