Big game. Champions League opener. Away in Paris.

Keep it tight early, don't allow the home team to get the fans behind them, right?

Not for Arsenal. Edinson Cavani gave PSG the lead within a minute as Arsenal looked like they had no idea the match had kicked off.

A lovely team move released Serge Aurier down the right, and he popped the ball onto Cavani's head to give the Parisians a dream start to Champions League life without Zlatan.

A cracking goal, but Arsenal fans are probably not fussed as they can afford to lose the first few games and have it look like the walls are falling down only to rally and secure a spot in the last 16 late on, where they will play one of the best teams in the competition.

It's just how it works.
