Celtic maintained their pace at the top of the table in a crazy 4-3 over Aberdeen this evening.
Scott Sinclair opened the scoring in the 6th minute after the ball broke kindly to him in the box:
But Aberdeen responded from the penalty spot after Emilio Izaguirre felled Niall McGinn inside the box. Stevie May scored the resultant spot kick:
Celtic struggled to break down a resolute Aberdeen defence, but would eventually break through again on 76 minutes after a well worked move saw James Forest put a great ball into the corridor of uncertainty™ , where Scott Sinclair was there to volley Celtic back in front:
Their lead would only last seven minutes however, when Graeme Shinnie was fouled in the box, Sam Cosgrove drawing the sides level from the spot.
The drama wasn't over yet however, with substitute Odsonne Edouard putting the Hoops back in front on 86 minutes, delightfully lifting the ball over Joe Lewis in goal.
Scott Sinclair then rounded off his hat trick after a great run down the left wing from Edouard to put his side two goals clear:
Aberdeen did hit back through through Lewis Ferguson but Celtic held on to maintain their one point lead over Rangers, with Brendan Rodgers also having a game in hand over their bitter rivals.
