A half-time substitute, but Philippe Coutinho is finally showing Barcelona what he can do after coming off the bench and making an instant impact tonight against Valencia.

Barcelona are currently in action in the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg at Mestalla. They came into the tie 1-0 up after the first leg and Coutinho doubled their advantage just three minutes after coming on with a sliding finish after great work from Suarez out wide.

Andre Gomes had started but did not have much of an impact on the game. The introduction of Coutinho for Gomes and Paulinho for Iniesta saw Barcelona transition to a more fluid 4-3-3 type formation with Busquets, Paulinho and Ivan Rakitić manning the centre.

Coutinho's initial appearance for Barcelona saw him deployed wide in a 4-4-2, although ultimately it seems Barcelona will be best served by trying to integrate a trio of Messi-Suarez and the Brazilian.

Barcelona are still 1-0 up.
