If there's one thing you can rely on from a big match on RTÉ, it's somebody being labelled 'finished' by Dunphy and the panel.

We've heard it before, but you could tell from the tone of his voice that this time Eamon really believed he had seen the last hurrah of a once-great side following a 0-0 draw with Juventus, a 3-0 loss on aggregate.

It was easy to see coming, once it became clear that Barca weren't going to win, you could sense that Dunphy had this one brewing.

And sure enough...

After the first leg of Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich, Dunphy admitted that Ronaldo scoring twice in the second half ruined his 'Ronaldo is finished' highlights package, and of course he also wrote-off Leo Messi earlier this season before he went on to score a hat-trick in the very same game, but this time, it's for real.

Dunphy would go on to claim that the players Barca have at their disposal are just not good enough, and he's right. Obviously the likes of Messi, Neymar, and Suarez don't come into that discussion, but players that have featured throughout this campaign have had questions asked that they just don't have answers for.

However, rather than die as a European force, Barca are expected to invest heavily in reinforcements, so it remains to be seen whether or not Dunphy is right regarding the end of an era for the Catalan club.

He also described Gonzalo Higuain as an "expensive donkey", so, you know, there's room for error.
