Watch: Gordon Strachan's Perfect Reaction Sums Up Scotland's Late Lapse Against England

Scotland were moments away from an absolutely massive win over England in their World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park on Saturday, only for Harry Kane to pop up late into stoppage time to equalise and break the Tartan Army's hearts.

Right from the national anthems we saw just how up for this Scotland were, but things were looking bleak after going 1-0 down in the second half. Leigh Griffiths then flipped the game on it's head with two outstanding free-kicks in the 86th and 88th minute, before Harry Kane finished from close range to make it 2-2.

And it was so avoidable. Scotland defended the first threat well and even looked to have a promising counter-attack on their hands, but they lost possession and switched off at the back, and they were punished for it.

After the cameras showed Gareth Southgate going mental, they showed Gordon Strachan, who reacted like every single Scotland fan in the world.

Ah for fucks sake!

You don't need to hire a professional lip-reader to decipher that one.

After the match, Graeme Souness suggested Gordon Strachan should be offered a contract extension on the back of the performance against England, as he believes that nobody could do a better job than the former Celtic manager has done with the players at his disposal.

It remains to be seen whether he will be kept on or not, but he will be absolutely gutted despite an otherwise positive point because of how close they were to the win.
