Whilst two wins to start our Euro 2020 qualifying campaign did much to help us forget, Republic of Ireland men's senior team are in need of one thing, and they're in need of it quick.

One striker who knows where the back of the net is, por favor senor.

One man that has been touted as a possible goalscoring messiah is Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford, who Mick McCarthy has paid extra special attention to since he stepped into the managerial role in November.

The English-born striker qualifies for the Republic through the age-old grandparent rule. Having represented the Boys in Green at under-18 level before going on to represent England at 19s and 21s.
