Jack Grealish, one of England's finest underage Gaelic footballers, has been banned for three matches this evening. The ban arose after a nasty incident during Saturday's Villa-Wolves game.
During the 1-1 home draw with Wolves, Grealish stamped on the ankle of Conor Coady after a challenge.
The referee missed the stamp but the television cameras caught it.
Grealish accepted the charge but sought to argue that a three game was too severe a penalty. The FA disagreed.

Aston Villa have struggled to acclimatise to the slog that is the Championship. They lie 17th in the table and don't appear to be rocketing their way back to their normal terrain.
Roberto Di Matteo was sacked after 124 days and promotion specialist and former crime novelist Steve Bruce has been appointed in his stead.
Things took a turn for the better tonight as Villa, minus Grealish, won 2-1 away at Reading. Grealish approved. All the respondents to this tweet appeared concerned that Jackie is in the process of wasting his talent.
