We would never have imagined in a million years that former Irish international and regular teller of cracking stories Jason McAteer would have access to sensitive information regarding the inner goings on at Real Madrid, but apparently we've been underestimating him all along.
Appearing on 'Fletch and Sav' on Saturday morning, McAteer was joined in the studio by Michael Owen and Steven McManaman, and the topic of discussion was Jose Mourinho and his next job in management.
While Owen claimed that Mourinho or Giggs would be Man United's next manager, and McManaman expressed his view that The Special One should avoid both Real and United, Jason put them both to shame when he chimed in and revealed that he had recently been chatting with Ramon Calderon, and dropped some ITK knowledge on all who were watching.

If anybody can say something with absolute certainty, and then have a think and admit that it may not in fact be certain, it's Jason McAteer. And we love him for it.
When you consider how irritating many regular pundits are out there today, it's a crying shame that Trigger doesn't get more airtime.
