Leeds United had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Brentford today in the EFL Championship after a controversial decision proved costly.

The League leaders went behind early on due to a contentious penalty. Ollie Watkins was one-on-one with goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell and was brought down after getting his shot away. However, replies suggest Watkins was on his way down before contact. Neal Maupay converted the spot kick.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Keith Andrews slammed it as a dive.

Nevertheless, Leeds rallied to secure a draw thanks to Pontus Jansson header.

Leeds went on to have a man sent off when Luke Ayling was shown a second yellow card. After the game, a furious Jansson told Sky Sports "I feel like shit" before going on to claim "this is a robbery."

Leeds United manager Marco Biesla was more diplomatic in his post-match interview, and simply claimed: "images speak for themselves."
