Manchester United nudged past City in the EFL Cup tonight, thanks to a Juan Mata goal, helped mainly by some extremely strange defending by Aleksander Kolarov.
The result means that Guardiola and City haven't won in six games, and is his longest winless streak as a manager. In that run, City have lost thrice. It's also City's longest winless run in eight years.
Not that Guardiola seemed that arsed about the defeat.
In his post-game interview, Pep smiled quite a lot, beaming that he was proud of his players - notably youngsters Alex Garcia and Pablo Maffeo. He also revealed that Vincent Kompany was subbed for Kolarov at half-time as the Belgian asked to be taken off.
