One of the more underrated aspects in modern football, the sound the net makes when a football has been absolutely blasted into it is something that makes great goals even better.
Similar to the way Tony Yeboah's infamous volley was made infinitely better by clattering off the bar, back up, and in off the bar again, a goal scored this weekend was greatly enhanced by the noise that was produced when the ball hit the goal.
With Werder Bremen trailing 4-0 to Borussia Monchengladback, Arsenal loanee Serge Gnabry took his frustration out on the ball as he thumped home an absolutely spectacular volley... But just listen to the sound it made:
That is what every goal should sound like. There is no more satisfying sound in football, unless maybe you get the same noise for a goal that takes the lead, and doesn't just make a scoreline look less embarrassing.
Gnabry looked a very talented player for Germany at the Olympics, and if he keeps on doing things like that in the Bundesliga he could force his way into Arsene Wenger's plans going forward.
