The good weather dawns just as the perfect excuse to sit on the couch all day looms. Three days of sensational sporting action awaits with Heineken Champions Cup, Allianz League finals, Premier League and All-Irish boxing matches all in store.

It all kicks off on Friday evening, before a packed Saturday which will demand some multi-screen action.

Friday 

7.45pm: Sale vs Connacht - BT Sport 2

The Challenge Cup Quarter-final tie pairs pool rivals Sale and Connacht together once more for a potentially enthralling tie on Friday night. Connacht's double-barrelled approach with Pro14 and European focus sees a strong starting team with Jack Carty, Bundee Aki and Kieran Marmion all starting.

7.45pm: Dundalk vs Cork City - RTE 2 

A welcome return for domestic football to our screens. The two top dogs over the past few years go head to head in Turners Cross. Coverage begins at 7.30pm.

Saturday 

12.30pm: Fulham vs Manchester City - Sports Sports Premier League 

Given both teams recent record, one thing is for certain: There will be goals. Coverage begins at 11.30am. Potentially one-sided, but there's always the rugby...

12.45pm: Edinburgh vs Munster - Virgin Media One

Munster travel to Scotland as slight underdogs to face a side rejuvenated under Richard Cockerill. This game is also being shown on Channel 4 and BT Sport 3.

3.00pm: Manchester United vs Watford - Sport Sports 

Ole's at the wheel, permanently! A potentially tricky opening game in store here against a Watford side quietly going about their business this season.

3.00pm: Derry vs Leitrim - TG4 

The Division four final pairs Terry Hyland's rising Leitrim against Derry this Saturday.

3.15pm: Saracens vs Glasgow - BT Sport 3 

Currently second, Saracens have a top-four finish wrapped up in the Gallagher Premiership and will look to kick on in Europe as well this Saturday.

5.00pm: Donegal v Meath - TG4

The Division 2 final has the potential to be a cracker. Meath, fresh from an impressive league campaign with Michael Newman, Darragh Campion, Cillian O'Sullivan and Shane McEntee all in form. Meanwhile, Donegal are without a host of key players but do have impressive management with Stephen Rochford impressing in training, as Stephen McMenamin's told us on this week's GAA podcast.

5.45pm: Leinster v Ulster - BT Sport 3 

The All-Irish quarter-final clash sees a weakened Leinster, with no Robbie Henshaw, Josh van der Flier, Devin Toner, Johnny Sexton or James Lowe, take on a rejuvenated Ulster. Could a potential shock be in store?

8.30pm: Eric Donovan v Stephen McAfee - TG4

It's been a long time coming, but finally, bigtime boxing is back in the capital and it's set to be magnificent. Several huge all-Irish clashes are set for the national stadium, with Victor Rabei v Jake Hanney a likely war.

10,30pm: Match of the Day - BBC One 

All the best of the Premier League action.

Sunday 

12.00pm: Celtic vs Rangers - Sports Sports Football

Neil Lennon vs Steven Gerrard, do we need to say more?

12.00pm: Galway vs Kilkenny - TG4 

A superb Camogie Division One final to kick off a mega day of action in Croke Park.

2.00pm: Limerick vs Waterford - TG4

The All-Ireland champions look to continue their relentless form but face a burgeoning Waterford back to their best under new management.

3.15pm: Racing 92 vs Toulouse - BT Sport 3 

Two French rugby powerhouses going toe-to-toe for a spot in Europe's last four? Yes please. Both teams demonstrated joyful attacking rugby during the pool stages.

4.00pm: Kerry vs Mayo - TG4

A rare Division One final without any Dublin involvement. Two teams who usually bring the best out of each other and will be raring to get an early win in Croke Park.

4.30pm: Liverpool vs Spurs - Premier League 

Liverpool's title challenge and Spurs top four ambitions mean this is a vital game for both teams. The last time they met, it finished in a 2-1 victory for Jurgen Klopp's side.

6.00pm: Clermont vs Northampton - BT Sport 3

An interesting Challenge Cup tie to tide you over while you wait for the Premier League highlights.

10.30pm: Match of the Day 2 - BBC 1
