Now that Sir Alex Ferguson is no longer in the Premier League, Jose Mourinho is looking for a new manager to challenge him in press conferences. Fresh from his spat with Mr and Mrs Benitez during the week, Mourinho has now found a manager willing to pick up the bait left for him closer to home.

Cross-London rivals Arsenal will be Chelsea's opposition in Sunday's Community Shield, and Wenger took to his pre-match press conference to accuse the media of being in love with the Portuguese manager.

There was more than an air of light-heartedness in Wenger's comments, as he joked with the media. That didn't stop Mourinho firing some shots at him claiming that Tony Pulis is a more worthy rival to him than Wenger, given Arsenal's poor record against Mourinho's teams:

I think I lost twice against Tony Pulis. I lost against Crystal Palace and against West Brom. One game each.

Mourinho went on to taunt Wenger's record against him, and what he'd do if he were in that situation.
